Dr. Moe Baum originates from San Diego, CA but has spent the last several years living throughout the western United States. She attended Midwestern University's College of Veterinary Medicine, located in Phoenix, AZ where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) upon graduation in 2018. From there she moved to apple country, aka Brewster, WA or "the middle of nowhere," where she practiced mixed animal medicine for the next two years. Although she really enjoyed the North Cascades and working with large animals (cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, etc.), she and her husband moved to Salt Lake City in September 2020 with their 6 fur babies; 2 dogs (Matix & Kylie) and 4 cats (Mowgli, Ash, Monkey & Duckie).
When she is not working, Dr. Baum enjoys camping, hiking, and other outdoor adventures with her family and friends. On the days that she can't be outdoors, she also enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with family.
Dr. Baum enjoys working with small animals, providing not only primary health care but emergency care as well. She is particularly interested in emergency care, soft tissue surgery, and the versatility of ultrasound. Furthermore, she is passionate about fostering the human-animal bond that we all feel with our pets; and she does this by promoting a low-stress and fear-free environment in the exam room while providing the necessary medical care for our clients' pets.
