Kelly Huston was born and raised on a large self sufficient farm in southern Iowa. Her dream to become a veterinarian started when she was eight years old and her love for animals has only intensified over the years. She obtained her Bachelor Degree at Iowa State University in Animal Husbandry, Microbiology, and Physiology, all the while enjoying competing for Iowa State Collegiate Gymnastics team and barrel racing for their rodeo team.
After graduating from Iowa State University with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, Kelly began practicing in Scottsdale, Arizona with the intent of pursuing equine medicine. However, her love for companion animals and being drawn to the beautiful state of Utah lead her to live here for the last 30 years. Dentistry, internal medicine, and getting puppies and kittens off on a healthy start has become her special interests. She is very passionate about developing a deep connection with both her clients and their babies in a fear-free environment to provide them with the best care.
Dr. Kelly raised two beautiful children while enjoying rock and mountain climbing, hiking, bodybuilding, and becoming involved with many shelter groups helping to treat and find animals foster homes. As age has caught up with her, she is content with home activities, spending time with her dog, and waiting for grandchildren to come into the picture.
