Kim Ingraham, DVM, Managing Veterinarian

Dr. Kim Ingraham graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioveterinary Science in 1984, and went on to get her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1988.

Dr. Ingraham married a Special Forces Soldier and moved frequently all over the world. She worked as a Veterinarian in Okinawa, Japan, Yuma, AZ, Fayetteville, NC, and Tacoma, WA. In 1999, she moved back to Salt Lake City, and became the Managing Veterinarian at West Valley Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Ingraham lends her veterinary expertise to West Valley Veterinary Clinic in fields of small animal dentistry, general surgery, and internal medicine. In 2007, Dr. Ingraham became certified in Acupuncture. Outside of the office, Dr. Ingraham and her husband enjoy spending time with their two sons, riding motorcycles, and boating.

Tom Mostoller, DVM

After graduating with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State, Dr. Tom Mostoller joined the army, serving his country in Vietnam. After the army, Dr. Mostoller went back to Montana to work with horses, cows, dogs, cats, and more! He opened a practice in Billings, Montana, where he practiced for 4 years. Dr. Mostoller moved to Salt Lake City, UT to work with the Central Valley Veterinary Group.

Dr. Mostoller has been part of West Valley Veterinary Clinic since we opened in 1978. Dr. Mostoller lends his General Surgery and General Practitioner expertise to West Valley Veterinary Clinic 8 months of the year, taking a 4 month break every summer to enjoy his ranch and horses in Montana. Dr. Mostoller and his wife have 3 children, 9 loving grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Sara J. Shaw, VMD

Sara J. Shaw Dr. Sara Shaw graduated in 1987 from University of Pennsylvania with her Veterinary Medicine Doctorate. Following school, she worked in Pennsylvania as a small animal veterinarian until moving to Utah in 1996. Dr. Shaw started working part time as a veterinarian at West Valley Veterinary Clinic, becoming full time in 2016. Dr. Shaw brings her skills in General Practice, Surgery, and Dentistry to our practice.

Dr. Shaw has been teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology at Westminster College in Salt Lake City since 1996.

Dr. Shaw enjoys spending time with her family, she has 5 grown children and 3 grandchildren, as well as 2 dogs, 2 birds, and 1 horse. She enjoys horseback riding, hiking, bike riding, and traveling.
